Introduction

Hello, my name is Megan Williams. I started studying Film Studies at Richmond College in 2008, where I found my passion for video editing. Since then, I have wanted to become a video editor. I have done different video projects with the college, including a music video and a stop motion animation. I have applied for University: I am going to Staffordshire Uni to study Post Production Technology. I am also currently writing two music video scripts: these are for the songs 'Sierra Leone' by Mt Eden Dubstep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16bRiH5zfOY) and 'Shut Up' by Blink-182 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_j68QQSGJU).

My favourite genre of movie are Anime (Japanese animation) and Horror. I enjoy the Studio Ghibli series (responsible for Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle). However, I also like the Saw series and the recent Transformers series. My favourite director is Tim Burton because his films are so unique and quirky.

I also enjoy going to gigs and festivals: I've gone to Reading and Glastonbury Festivals, as well as seeing Green Day and The Cure. I am seeing Blink-182 twice in the summer.
